This project saw the partial reconstruction of the Tartu University Library. This included the reconstruction of the fire compartments and escape routes. New freight, book, and passenger elevators were installed. The lobby, depositories, second floor reading hall, third floor reading hall, and staff rooms were reconstructed. The conference centre also received a thorough makeover. Additionally, the project involved the reconstruction of the high voltage and low voltage installations of the building, and the redesign and reconstruction of the ventilation system. The domestic waste water and stormwater sewage system were reconstructed, as, partially, was the square in front of the building, and the greenery and overall condition of the courtyard and the surroundings of the building were given a touch-up. A new bicycle parking area was built, as well as seating areas and outdoor lighting.
